Our team explores innovative heat transfer solutions to enhance the efficiency of energy conversion systems. Our focus is on boiling heat transfer for nuclear energy systems. We develop advanced diagnostics to shed light on the mechanisms of heat transfer and learn how to improve them. We use micro and nanofabrication techniques to engineer the heat transfer surfaces and maximize their performance.
